/files/Images/jerry rushford_2.jpgDr. Jerry Rushford is the director of Church Relations for Pepperdine University and director of the new Churches of Christ Heritage Center at Pepperdine.  He is an author and a popular speaker who specializes in Restoration Church History.  He also, leads tours tracing the steps of the great hymnologists.  Under Rushford's thirty-year leadership, the Pepperdine University Bible Lectures have earned a reputation as one of the finest lecture series in the nation.  Around 4,000 people, from more than 40 states and 20 foreign countries, attend this four-day conference each spring.  Gateway Church's renewal will be featured at this year's lectures (http//www.pepperdine.edu/biblelectures/schedule/complete-by-participant.htm?id=12300)

Dr. Rushford received his education from Great Lakes Christian College, Rochester College, A.A.; Oklahoma Christian University, B.A.; Harding Graduate School of Religion; Abilene Christian University, M.A. and M.Div.; Earlham School of Religion and the University of California, Santa Barbara, Ph.D. in American Church History. He and his wife, Lori, reside in Oak Park, California. They have two daughters, Hilary and Ashley.
